MY First Giveaway!!!

While shopping at the Mid Atlantic Quilt Festival...I decided I should have a giveaway for my followers!!! I found a cute scissors leash ( "To Quilt is Human: To Finish, Divine!") is what it says. I bought 2, one for me and one to giveaway. I also found a Sew Unique Creations basket wallhanging pattern. I bought a hanger with a heart for mine to go on ( when I get it made!!) So if you are a follower, old or new,  ( in the USA, sorry to others living elsewhere) just post a comment about your present project. Drawing will be on Friday, March 4.  Be sure I can contact you.

  2. Love your goodies! Aren't quilt festivals fun? I went to my first one in January. Present project? Projects! I have a short attention span. A finished quilt that still needs threads buried, just finished half of the 48 blocks for a Canasta Quilt, Bee and Swap Blocks going, 3 table runner tops waiting to be quilted, blocks for three quilts for quilt alongs and getting ready to cut a couple more things out. I like having projects in all stages so I can do whatever I'm in the mood for, cutting piecing, binding.

  3. How nice of you. As a matter of fact I'm working on a basket quilt:) But I love them. I haven't been to a quilt show yet, but there is one in April in the next state, so I may try it.

  8. Great idea - pity that this cant be an entry as i am in Australia. I am working on a quilt for my grandson John - it will be also a play mat with roads etc. I hope to get some photos up tomorrow of how I got the rail track fabric to meet up. Once the back ground is finished I will be adding photos of places that he knows in Australia, Germany, and the UK
