Sanford NC quilt and fiber show

This is Cathi from Shakerwood Quilts (http://www.shakerwoodquilts.blogspot.com/). She had beautiful wools and patterns for sell. She hand dyes wool!! Check out her blog.
I loved this booth...it was so full of items I love

More patterns and fabrics

I loved this Cotton Boll quilt...I didn't buy the pattern as I am not into applique!!!

I bought the pattern for the quilt with the houses on it... Who knows when it will get made???? I also bought several other patterns here. Will post them later.

More fabric and patterns purchased.!!!

The show is today and tomorrow in Sanford NC at the Dennis Wicker Civic Center...very easy to find. There were 70 vendors there....everything from Featherweights, quilting machines, patterns , fabric, and rulers galore!!! I test drove a Homesteader midarm. It was great. I want to check them out...if anyone has one I would love to hear how you like it. My husband drove me ( it's about an hour and a half from our house) and he knows how I follow directions. I think he enjoyed it..he talked to several vendors and encouraged me to buy fabric and patterns ( as if I need encouragement!!! LOL!!!)

  2. Not the best picture of me but I like how the booth turned out! Good to see you and hubby yesterday. I have the Cotton Boll pattern if you ever decide to go over to the A side (applique). I haven't made it, either!

  3. Wish I was in NC!! I'd be there. I've never been to a quilting show before, or a vendor fair for quilters. Looks like so much fun though.
