While shopping at the Mid Atlantic Quilt Festival...I decided I should have a giveaway for my followers!!! I found a cute scissors leash ( "To Quilt is Human: To Finish, Divine!") is what it says. I bought 2, one for me and one to giveaway. I also found a Sew Unique Creations basket wallhanging pattern. I bought a hanger with a heart for mine to go on ( when I get it made!!) ReplyDeleteLove your goodies! Aren't quilt festivals fun? I went to my first one in January. Present project? Projects! I have a short attention span. A finished quilt that still needs threads buried, just finished half of the 48 blocks for a Canasta Quilt, Bee and Swap Blocks going, 3 table runner tops waiting to be quilted, blocks for three quilts for quilt alongs and getting ready to cut a couple more things out. I like having projects in all stages so I can do whatever I'm in the mood for, cutting piecing, binding.

I'm so jealous you got to go to the Mid Atlantic Festival. I've never been to that one but it's on my to-do list. Current project? There are many but I'm ready to put the binding on my appliqued rooster quilt. blessings, marlene
ReplyDeleteGreat idea - pity that this cant be an entry as i am in Australia. I am working on a quilt for my grandson John - it will be also a play mat with roads etc. I hope to get some photos up tomorrow of how I got the rail track fabric to meet up. Once the back ground is finished I will be adding photos of places that he knows in Australia, Germany, and the UK
