Two More Blocks
Broken Dishes and Broken Sugar Bowl are the next two additions to my completed Farmer's Wife Sampler blocks. I hope I get more done quicker than I did these two....I have fought a cold all week...and boy, did it get me dragging!! I have done some hand quilting this week...it has been a while since I picked up that PhD (Project Half Done) ! I hope that I finish it in the next two weeks...I'm not a fast hand quilter.

I'm new to your blog, popped in from another blog. Wow! You are making FW-blocks?! These two are looking great! I bought that book and SBS some weeks ago, and I consider making at least one of them... Do you hand sew the blocks? Have you chosen a certain fabric collection, or is it going to be a scrappy FW?
ReplyDeleteNo, I do not hand sew the pieces. I just picked out fabrics from my stash but when I do the sashing I will have to buy it. The sashing will tie it all together. Look back at the older posts to see the othe completed blocks...not that many yet.
