I am getting ready to start Bonnie Hunter's new mystery. Check out Quiltville.blogspot.com for instructions. She always starts the Friday after Thanksgiving and it will run into January. New directions are added on each Friday.
Here are my fabrics ( I love scrappy) Aqua, Purple and Orange and mixed Whites for the neutral.
The 3 color bundles I purchased from Whittles Fabrics online and added some pieces I had in my stash
Got my strips cut for clue one and am getting ready to sew. I love seeing it all come together at the end.

A UFO is completed
Finally, I am back after a long break. This is a quilt I completed during the Stay at Home order. It was last years Row By Row one. I had the center complete and could not decide on a border. I had sewed one on and didn't like it. Took it off and then it sat as a UFO. One day I saw the perfect border in my sewing room...It had been on the shelf at least a year. I quilted it with a sand dollar pantograph. I am happy with it. All the quilt shops rows I used were from the Raleigh NC area.

This is The Cherry Pit quilt shop's row by row sample.
This shop had sooo many samples displayed.

I love the colors and "fun" look of this one.
Lots of patterns to browse and choose from.
I could not resist this one with the snowman.
The shop is well worth going out of the way to visit.

row by row experience... Quilter's Quarters (Waynesville NC)
This is Quilter's Quarters row by row block. It represents the Fall season.
The store had a nice variety of quilts displayed. I wish I lived close
enough to attend classes there. They also do retreats.
I had to buy a layer cake (Rejoice by Moda). They had a large selection of Christmas fabrics, batiks, and colorful fabrics. Lots of patterns, quilty items.

2014 Row By Row Experience
I have been on several road trips with friends collecting patterns, kits and license plates. I have completed my first row. The picture above is from their shop...mine is reversed. My snowflakes did not show up in my snapshot so I decided to use theirs. This is from Quilter's Corner Quilt Shop in Midlothian , Virginia. I bought their kit ( and it had the appliques precut, so I only had to iron on and blanket stitch around.) I am not from Virginia so my next block will be from North Carolina. It is so hard to choose. They are so cute. When I get some roads made then I will have to decide about borders, sashing, how to add the shops' fabric license plates ( they are 3 1/2" by & inches).Off to choose!!

Latest project
I just finished quilting this one...now on to the binding. Perfect something to do this rainy afternoon.
My starting point was Peppermint Stars Quilt (http://www.freespiritfabric.com/graphic-elements/gallerys/t207_1.pdf) pattern from Free Spirit fabrics, but in their direction each block had a busy background and star points were striped pieced too. It had way too much going on for my taste, so I changed it a little. I decided to make up the sashing also.
