Stitching For Christmas Block

Block 4

I finished the block just in time....now I am ready to trace the one that was posted yesterday. I had a busy week with the quilting classes I teach at the local Community College and waiting for items to be delivered by Lowe's. The flat top range that was to be delivered Thursday morning is not here yet...which is OK... we took the old range out Wednesday afternoon ( NO cooking going on here!!!LOL!!)

Block 2

 Another part of the Secret Santa Swap project is complete. I need to speed up, I want to be finsihed by mid November. I have to look through my reds or maybe greens and decide on the fabric to use.   Maybe go shopping....??

Stitching For Christmas  Block 3
I completed Block 3 of Stitching For Christmas. Tomorrow Block 4 will be available. I had so much to do since last Friday...I was afraid I wouldn't finish it.

Block 2 Stitching For Christmas

 While riding to Mt. Airy, I worked on the 2nd block of Stitching For Christmas.  I also called it my Christmas Quiltalong project. There are 7 more weeks of the Stitching For Christmas blocks. I hope I keep up!! I am happy with the results.

My husband and I went to the Autumn Leaves Festival this past weekend in Mt. Airy, NC. The weather was beautiful and the crowd was large. Looked at lots of crafts. We always go to the quilt show that is held the same weekend. I could not get great pictures as the space was small.  Of course, I didn't win the raffle quilt! There is a very nice quilt fabric shop in Mt. Airy and I helped the local economy there!! I did work on my Christmas Quilt along project...I haven't taken a pic yet.

 I completed my first Stitching For Christmas block. It has been a long time since I have hand embroidered. I love snowmen, so I think it's cute. It's not too late to join in the fun.

Stitching For Christmas began today..It lasts 9 weeks. They have the cutest snowman angel for this weeks pattern
