Charming Girls Quilt Club goals...completed

Between Charming Friends quilt is completely finished!! That was goal 1 &2.

The Comfort of Psalms I decided to hand quilt myself. It is also completely finished!!!  That was goal 3 & 4.

I also designed & made a Boy Scout quilt for Harvest Sale at Church. I had 3 friends that hand quilted it. It is completed.

I also finished goals 5&6 ( designing & making a quilt top for a class I am teaching. )

Finally Finished!!!

I was so happy Monday when the mail carrier arrived, she had a package with the fabric I needed for the rest of the binding!!! The person I had ordered it from on Ebay got it in the mail the same day I ordered it!!! Itcame from Idaho ( to NC). I needed that fabric so the border blocks would be surrounded by the stars. I am pleased it is finished. I have the label ready also.

Finished!!!....only needs a label and then it'll be ready for the Church Harvest Sale!!! I was afraid I would still be quilting it the night before.







As you can see I finally decided what to do for the border.
The Boy Scout quilt was quilted by 3 friends...they did it in a day!!!
I had enough fabric for only 3 sides of the quilt (I thought I had enough) so I called the fabric shop I had gotten the fabric from...SOLD OUT!!! I just had to find that fabric for the look I wanted.  I did a Google search and checked out a lot of shops...none had any. I went to Ebay and 1 person had a yard...so it is on the way to my house. I hope it arrives tomorrow. I still have 3 weeks until Harvest Sale .

Latest project

This is a fat quarter bag...it's a good size to carry Sew & Tell projects to guild meetings...and about everything else!!  It's made from 6 fat quarters and lined with whatever abric you have in your stash. It was quick to make.
